Dresin Mouthwash & Gargle should be used as directed by your doctor. Do not use it more than the recommended dose. After taking a measured amount of this medicine in the mouth, rinsed thoroughly so that it reaches every corner of the mouth. The spit out after rinsing. Do not swallow the medicine.

How Dresin Mouthwash & Gargle Works

Dresin Mouthwash & Gargle is a combination of two medicines: Benzydamine and Chlorhexidine gluconate which treat mouth infections. Benzydamine is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Chlorhexidine gluconate is an antiseptic and disinfectant. It works by binding to the surface of teeth, inner cheeks and gums. This kills the infectious microorganisms that cause gum disease, tartar and other mouth infections.

How to Use Dresin Mouthwash & Gargle

This medicine is for external use only. Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not dilute the solution. Gargle in the mouth for at least 30 seconds and spit after use.

Quick Tips

  • It should generally be used undiluted. If it makes your mouth sting, you can dilute it with an equal volume of water before use.
  • Have regular dental checkups at intervals recommended by your dentist (this is normally at least once a year).
