Answer

Nasovac-S4 Vaccine Reviews

Nasovac-S4 Vaccine is indicated for prevention of influenza (flu) in individuals 2 years of age and above. It works by exposing you to a small dose of the flu virus which helps your body to develop immunity against the disease. It will not treat an existing flu virus infection.

Nasovac-S4 Vaccine is usually administered just before the cold season when the flu virus begins to increase. It is administered as a single-dose intranasal spray. The vaccine should be inspected visually for any foreign particulate matter and/or variation of  physical aspects before administration. Discard the vaccine in case of any defects observed.

The most common side effects of this medicine are nasal discomfort, sneezing, runny nose, chills, and facial swelling. It may also cause fever, headache, fatigue, sore throat, cough, wheezing, and nausea. These are usually mild and resolve on their own. However, if they persist or bother you, let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them.

Nasovac-S4 Vaccine should not be injected under any circumstances. Before receiving the vaccine, let your doctor know if you have any preexisting medical conditions or if you have ever had an allergic reaction to a vaccine. Vaccination should be postponed in people already suffering from cold, cough, fever, bodyache or other flu-like symptoms until their recovery. Ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How Nasovac-S4 Vaccine Works

Live vaccines use a weakened (or attenuated) form of the virus that causes influenza. Because these vaccines are so similar to the natural infection that they help prevent, they create a strong and long-lasting immune response.

Benefits of Nasovac-S4 Vaccine

  • In Prevention of Influenza (flu): Influenza (flu) is a viral infection that attacks your respiratory system (nose, throat, and lungs). For most people, it gets better on its own. However, for people who are at a higher risk of becoming seriously ill (such as elderly, young children, pregnant women), people with chronic long-term conditions (such as asthma, heart disease, and diabetes), people with weakened immune systems, and residents of a nursing home, Nasovac-S4 Vaccine provides protection.Nasovac-S4 Vaccine is administered as a single-dose intranasal spray. Administration is needle free and therefore painless. It gives double protection, i.e., mucosal and systemic immune response. It produces both local (mucosal) and serum antibodies and also stimulates cell mediated immunity. Because it is a live vaccine, Nasovac-S4 Vaccine gives broad protection including protection against drifted strains in the circulation.
