Beclometasone is a steroid. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make your ear red, swollen and itchy.

How to Use Olex Ear Drop

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside ear.

Quick Tips

  • Throw away any medicine left at the end of the course.
  • Stop using Olex and inform your doctor if you notice ear irritation, burning sensation or allergic reaction.
  • Talk to your doctor if your symptoms haven't started to improve within two days of starting treatment, if they get worse during treatment or if you get another ear infection.
  • Avoid contact with your eyes, nose or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the drop in these areas.
