What if you forget to take Accunac Eye Drop?
If you miss a dose of Accunac 0.1%, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Accunac 0.1% is a pain relieving medicine used to treat pain and inflammation associated with cataract surgery. It blocks and reduces the release of certain chemicals in the eye that cause pain and swelling. This makes the healing process after eye surgery more comfortable and helps the eye heal faster.
Always wash your hands before using Accunac 0.1%. Use only the number of drops that your doctor has prescribed and wait for about five minutes between each drop. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using the drops and wait for at least 15 minutes before putting them back in. You should not touch the tip of the dropper or bottle. How to Use Accunac 0.1% Eye Drop
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Driving
UNSAFE
Accunac 0.1% may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Quick Tips
- Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop.
- Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
- Usually, a 4 to 6-week course may be necessary.
- Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
- Notify your doctor if you are on blood thinners or have bleeding problems.
- Your doctor has prescribed Accunac 0.1% for the relief of post-operative eye pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
