They work together by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the eye.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Quick Tips

Your eyes can become more sensitive to sunlight than usual post eye infections or surgery. Wearing sunglasses may help to prevent this.
Ketolac-LD should usually be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day.
Do not wear contact lenses until your infection clears up or your eyes heal completely after surgery.
