Hexilak Gel Reviews

Hexilak is a combination medicine used in the treatment of burns. It helps to reduce inflammation, redness, pain, burning sensation, and also promotes wound healing. It works by stopping the growth of microorganisms and killing the existing ones that cause the infection.

Hexilak is for external use only. It should be applied as per dose and duration suggested by the doctor. Applying it at the same time every day will help you remember to use it. The affected area should be clean and dry before application of the medicine. You must wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. Do not stop using it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better.

It is generally safe to use medicine with no common side effects. Avoid direct contact with eyes, nose, or mouth. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How Hexilak Gel Works

Hexilak is a combination of three medicines. Allium Cepa is an herb extract that shows antibacterial action on the burnt wounds. It kills the microorganisms to prevent the wound from getting infected. Allantoin is a skin protectant. It promotes the production of collagen (protein) fibers for faster wound healing. It also provides moisture to the skin and helps to resolve scar marks. Heparin is an anticoagulant. However, it shows anti-inflammatory action when used in this combination. It helps to reduce symptoms of inflammation such as redness, pain, redness, burning sensation, etc. that occurs in the wounds. It also accelerates the healing process of the wounds resulting in smooth healed skin without scars or contractures (hard or tight scars).
