Answer

Dobonis 250mg Injection Reviews

Dobonis 250mg is a medicine used for short-term treatment of cardiac decompensation (low blood pressure due to poorly functioning heart) due to disease like heart failure, cardiogenic shock, or heart attack. It increases the blood pressure by increasing the pumping capacity of the heart.

Dobonis 250mg is also used while performing stress echocardiography evaluation of the heart. It is administered under the supervision of a doctor as it requires continuous blood pressure monitoring. The dose has to be individually adjusted as per the patient's response to therapy. You should continue all your other medicines that are advised by the doctor for your long-term treatment even after this injection. Your doctor may advise for regular monitoring of blood pressure.

It may cause side effects like high blood pressure and insomnia (difficulty in sleeping). You must inform the doctor if you are suffering from any liver or kidney disease. Also, let your doctor know about all the other medications that you are using regularly.

How Dobonis 250mg Injection Works

Dobonis 250mg is a sympathomimetic agonist. It works by activating the receptors in the heart. This makes the heart pump blood with more strength and force and increases its pumping capacity in conditions such as heart failure.

How to Use Dobonis 250mg Injection

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

Benefits of Dobonis 250mg Injection

  • In Low blood pressure: Dobonis 250mg is used to normalise decreased blood pressure (hypotension) which may occur all of a sudden during an operation, severe infection (sepsis) or due to an emergency condition (cardiac arrest). This medicine helps to bring back the blood pressure within normal range and therefore prevents any sudden fall or even serious complications that might have otherwise followed due to low blood pressure.
  • In Heart failure: Heart failure means your heart is weak and cannot pump enough blood to your lungs and the rest of your body. The most common symptoms are breathlessness, tiredness, and swelling in your legs, ankles, abdomen and other parts of your body. Dobonis 250mg makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body and is therefore an effective treatment for heart failure. This medicine will help relieve your symptoms, making you feel better and more energetic. You should make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthily and keeping active) to help this medicine be effective. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.
