Kaydext LS is a combination medicine used in the treatment of asthma. It helps in relaxing the muscles of the air passages, thus widening it and making it easier to breathe. It also thins and loosens mucus in the nose, windpipe and making it easier to cough out.

Kaydext LS is taken in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. This medicine may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.

How Kaydext LS Oral Suspension Works

Kaydext LS is a combination of four medicines. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. This makes breathing easier. Ambroxol is a mucolytic medication. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out and breathing. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and further helps in its removal from the airways. Menthol is an extract from peppermint that produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation.

How to Use Kaydext LS Oral Suspension

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Kaydext LS may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
