How Hypin 5mg Tablet Works

Hypin 5mg is a vestibular suppressant, i.e., it suppresses the vestibular apparatus in the inner ear by blocking the H1 receptor and stops vertigo. It acts within 30 minutes and, therefore, is effective during acute attacks. It also acts as a dopamine antagonist. Dopamine controls the region in the brain that causes nausea and vomiting, and this medicine blocks the action of dopamine. Therefore, Hypin 5mg shows an anti-nauseating and antiemetic action. The mechanism of action by which prochlorperazine relieve headache and anxiety is probably related to it being serotonin (5HT3) receptor antagonist and dopamine (D2) receptor antagonist.

  • In Treatment of Vertigo: Vertigo means a spinning sensation or dizziness that is triggered due to frequent movement or in people suffering from Meniere’s disease. It usually happens due to problem in the ear (vestibular). Hypin 5mg helps treat this sensation effectively.
